Order your mattress from our online shop and specify ‘custom size’ at the checkout.

If you’re ordering a non-rectangular bassinet mattress you’ll need to send us a drawing. Please see ‘Draw your mattress’, right.

Most cots and bassinets will write the recommended mattress size on the slats or on an internal label.

Please take great care with this step.

If the mattress is too small a baby can get wedged in gaps between the mattress and the cot sides.

This is especially dangerous if their face is trapped and covered, or their neck is restricted in any way.

Make sure there is no more than 20mm (less than 1 inch) gap between the mattress and the cot sides and ends.

Alternatively, if the mattress is too large the mattress can bow or warp also resulting in a hazard.

We recommend a snug fit.

**This step is only required if your mattress is for a bassinet and is not rectangular in shape** If you have an existing bassinet mattress you’d like to replace, simply trace the existing mattress onto a piece of wrapping paper.

Alternatively, Trace the space in the bassinet where the mattress would sit.

This will be the template used to cut your bassinet so please take care when measuring.

Write your PO number on your template before posting.
